This is greatest bottle.I will never forget ellegance fragrance and wonderful taste.

An intense and austere Port Ellen. Its natural, clean, crisp and very dry profile is typical of this legendary lost distillery. Very maritime, with salty and sour notes (lemons, sea spray) and just the right amount of smokiness. Its palate is very mineral and dominated by lemons, dry white wine, and a touch of wax. Extremely appetizing, it’s a malt which needs some water to fully release its flavours and which is particularly suited for pairing with oysters and seafood. A powerful and elegant old whisky, a triumph on the palate but also a bottling that no collector will want to miss.

グラスに注いだ瞬間から立ち上がる香りの印象は、まるで白黒の部屋が3Dのカラーになったような感じに、一気に花が開いたような感じ。
飲み干したグラスからも華やかな香りがしっかりと残り、樽由来のヴァニラ香りと、ポートエレンが持つパワフルさが存分に楽しめます。激しく厳格なポートエレン。
とても自然体でクリーンな、とてもドライな輪郭は、失われた蒸留所の伝統であり典型でもあるようです。
海のミネラルや潮、酸味のあるニュアンス（レモンのような）とスモーキーさが絶妙なバランスで仕上がっています。その味わいはミネラルとレモンのようなフレーバーが感じられ、まるで辛口の白ワインのような爽やかな味わいがあります。この味わいはとても食欲をそそり、少し水を加えると、開放されたかのように牡蠣や魚介類との相性が抜群だと思えるような潮味が際立ち、そこにスモーキーさが感じられる、パワフルでエレガントな古いウィスキーです。今では入手が難しくなってきたポートエレンですので、この素晴らしい体験をぜひ楽しんでみてください。
