Macallan 20yo "Sherry Finish"

This bottle is greatest Macallan. It will be feel a fabulouse sherry fraglance and mellow taste.

Soft and fragrant, a Macallan which strikes a nice balance between the heavier sherried style and the profile of the bourbon oak expressions. Very subtle and complex, it offers a nose which takes some time to reveal all of its subtleties: candied orange, a very faint whiff of smoke, a hint of mustiness and oak, and a pleasant dry nuttiness. At the palate, it is extremely clean, pure and very dry. Sherry finishing adds a pleasant restrained fruitiness (apricots, dried peaches) and the expected nutty character which is loved by Macallan aficionados, but it doesn’t overwhelm the malt with exceedingly winey notes. The dryness lingers pleasantly in the aftertaste, with a stimulating moderate tannic bitterness.

正規のシェリー樽マッカランと比べると、まりっじんぐされている樽の本数もかなり少ないので、
輪郭がよりはっきりとしていて香りの立ち上がりも、よりシャープに感じることが出来ます。

ソフトで優雅な香りのこのマッカランは、バーボン樽とシェリー樽のダブルマチュアドで仕上げられています。
非常に微妙で複雑なプロセスを経て仕上げられたこのモルトは、砂糖漬けのオレンジやスモーキーさと、オーク樽由来のヴァニラ香があり、かつドライな香りが実現しています。
味わいは、とても綺麗と言うのが第一印象で、純粋なマッカランがあり、かつドライな味わいです。
最後にシェリーの樽でフィニッシュされていて、アプリコットや桃のような味わいが口いっぱいに広がり、マッカラン愛好家が評価するなってぃーな味わいもしっかりと感じられます。
ドライな味わいが感じられますが、シェリー樽由来の甘さとタンニンが感じられる余韻の長いフィニッシュが楽しめます。
